What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done? Was it quitting your job? Signing up for a marathon? Giving birth? Adopting a dog? Saying “yes” to something or someone? Standing up for yourself? Jumping out of a plane?
And how did doing those scary things make you feel? How did you feel before you did it? Vulnerable, perhaps? And how did you feel afterwards? Awesome, perhaps?
That’s how greatness works. When we allow ourselves to be truly seen, when we expose ourselves to possible failure (and possible failure in front of people), magic happens.
“Rather than sitting on the sidelines and hurling judgment and advice, we must dare to show up and let ourselves be seen. This is vulnerability. This is daring greatly.”
Where in your life are you sitting on the sidelines? Are you waiting for the right time? Are you waiting for everything to be perfect? Are you waiting for a sign?
You only have one life. You only have one today. And today is the day.
It’s time to stop tolerating things that don’t make you feel awesome. It’s time to create a life—your life—that is awesome. You have the power to do that. You have the power to choose an awesome life. Use your power. Be seen. It’s scary as hell, but it’s so worth it. Close your eyes or cross your fingers or hug your binky and JUMP.
The time is NOW!
It’s time to be outrageous. It’s time to make eye contact. It’s time to speak your truth. It’s time to follow your dreams.
What scares you?
Is it going back to school? Showing up in your relationship? Hiring a coach? Committing to a dream? Climbing a mountain? Playing big in all aspects of your life? Taking care of yourself? Asking for help?
Say Hell Yes to your life. Say Hell Yes to yourself. Say Hell Yes to your dreams and start playing all in.
I want to see you. And I want to be seen.
