I LOVED going to the circus as a kid.

I loved the clowns. I loved the trapeze. I loved aaaaall the animals. (And I'm just going to assume that all of those animals were incapable of living in the wild so they were living their best lives ever )

I wanted to sign up for Clown College right then and there.

But I didn't. Because, well…..I was 5. But the dream always lived in my heart.

Fast forward to 5 years ago, when we moved to Sarasota, FL. A year into living here, a friend of mine came to visit, and wanted to go to the circus.

Mid-show, one of the circus performers came into the audience to grab participants (not volunteers) – and the guy walked RIGHT up to me, and brought me into the ring.

We “performed” a spaghetti western. And I got to wear a red floofy skirt.

My kid self was delighted. And my adult self was in awe of the magic of it all.

And even though I never pursued my DREAM of clown college as a child….I got to live out my dream, as an adult.

The universe always delivers your desires at the perfect time. And that perfect time is when you have become the person who can receive it. Then and only then will it be delivered directly to you.
