Find Your Awesome with Gareth Martin

“I really encourage people to sleep more. I think it’s the most important thing.”

- Gareth Martin

Transformation Coach. Bodybuilder. Yogi. Ex-Investment Banker. Natural Chef.

Meditation Teacher. Smiler. Traveller. Lover Of Challenges. Networker. Organization

Guru. Podcast Host. Gareth Martin knows all too well about trying many things in life. He believes experiencing new things is important to help grow you as a person and find out who you are and what you want in life. Gareth was born and grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. He thrived on competition and camaraderie, but also found peace and solitude in individual sports, namely swimming.

“There are so many lessons that you can learn from all of your experiences, all the people you meet, all the things you see.”

- Gareth Martin

At age 16, he was involved in a life-threatening head-on collision while riding his motorbike, which he believes gave him a different perspective on life. He knows it’s important to make the most of every opportunity because you never know when your time might be up. Today, Gareth works as a Transformational Coach, and is the co-host of The Ridiculously Human Podcast. It took him a couple of years of transformation and upskilling to get him here, though. Gareth believes in not letting anyone else’s thoughts stop you from doing what you want in life. Embrace each opportunity and make the most of every interaction you have.

“We have so much potential if we just take our health seriously.”

- Gareth Martin

Gareth and I had fun talking about a little bit of everything, from black mambas to the importance of sleep and being your best self. We hope you enjoy listening to this conversation as much as we enjoyed creating it.

“Seek to be challenged in your thinking, listen, and give other people time to have the stage and say what they want. Ask some more questions if it doesn’t make sense. And only then give your thoughts.  ”

- Gareth Martin
