Did I ever tell you? 10 years ago, I hired a health coach, and she put me in food prison.

I wasn't allowed to eat most things. And I suffered through platefulls of: meat and sweet potatoes…sweet potatoes and meat….meat and sweet potatoes.

I'd find myself circling the kitchen at 3 pm, desperate for a snack. But other than another round of sweet-potato chips, I wasn't allowed to eat anything in the fridge.

“Nevermind, I'll just be hungry,” I'd say to myself.

And over the course of a month, my athletic performance went in the shitter, because I wasn't getting the nutrition I needed.

I had zero energy! And I was crankyAF because, well….because I felt like I was in prison!! – but also because, I wasn't listening to my body.

Needless to say, we didn't work together for very long. And (thankfully) I had the realization that I know what my body wants!

These days, I eat a plant-based diet, filled with overnight oats, kale salad and vegan chili – and I have SO MUCH ENERGY!

👉 I listen to my sacral authority, when it comes to food decisions (let's make risotto tonight)!

👉 I allow myself to eat EXACTLY what I want, according to my open taste (I've had the same-ish kale salad every night for more than a year – and I'm excited for it EVERY DAY)!

👉 And I give myself permission to eat lunch at 2 pm or later because I have the gift of perfect timing!

The point is….

Human Design has a lot to teach us all about HOW and WHAT we eat!
