Taking Back our Stories with Cher Hale

“What would life look like if I did more of what I wanted, when I wanted. And less of what I didn’t want, when I didn’t want to do it.”
- Cher Hale

Cher Hale is the authentic, vibrant, purpose-driven founder and director of Ginkgo PR, a boutique agency that believes in using public relations to amplify the voices of underrepresented and marginalized groups. Cher is truly amazing and unique in the way she shows up for her clients (and those she pitches to). And once I saw her Human Design chart, I know why: she was literally made for this work! In this episode, we talk about her story and how following her passion—and her design—led her to the life she is living right now. We talk about empowerment, owning our own stories and following our purpose.

As a Taiwanese-Black American woman, Cher is passionate about leveraging the power of media to tell diverse stories through online, print, TV, radio, and podcast mediums so she can play a role in reshaping how our society views social justice, give-back initiatives, feminism, and multiculturalism. To connect with her, you can access her free Pitch List library by signing up at ginkgopr.com/subscribe.

“Why not do something that matters within the time that I have left.”- Cher Hale

“In every choice I make, I have a choice of choosing love over fear.”- Cher Hale
